The Forbes list of richest people in the world is led by the Mexican businessman Carlos Slim for two years in a row. The telecoms tycoon has a fortune of 53.5 billion U.S. dollars (39.3 billion euros), as calculated by the American magazine forbes.
Before that it was Microsoft founder Bill Gates that was leading the list, and sometimes his business partner Warren Buffet. Forbes calulated the assets of Mr. Gates at 53 billion U.S. dollars. In third place is Buffett, who has an estimated fortune of 47 billion dollars.
