It’s time… Whitin a few minutes I’ll be on a bus to Antalya airport. Boarding is scheduled at 12.50h local time and I will be arriving in Brussels at 14.50h local time.

After the vulcano irrupted on thursday last week. I was stuck in Antalya for about 5 days. Normally I was going home on saturday and now we are wednesday.

A lot of people are stuck at there vacation destination and I’m one of them. Currently I’m at Antalya, Turkey and I’m stuck here. Luckely I got a room for tonight.

Following the latest info the airfield of Brussels (zaventem) will be closed untill wednesday. It’s not sure yet, but it’s possible…

The ashcloud is going my direction (Turkey, the south-east). If the wind stays as still as now, it will take even longer to get in Belgium. Let’s all hope it will start to rain very soon, than the cloud will vaporize into nothing.

It’s nice to have an extra long holiday, but there more to this than that. Getting a room, who will pay it (now I know that the touroperator will pay. This was a European discision!), let my work know I will not be there in time and a lot more!

Yesterday and a small part of today the linxiting blog was offline due to hacking problems. We had to re-install the whole server to make sure everything works fine again. Sorry for any inconvinius!
