Two remarkable moments in soccer this week – Ezequinha
July 27th, 2010
The new soccer season 2010/2011 hasn’t started yet en there were already two crazy soccer moments… The one was of course better then the other. First I will show you why Petr Cech is so important for Chelsea:
Now I will show you a new kind of penalty taking. Look what Ezequiel Calvente does here below. After the famous Panenka, I think the new Ezequinha is born:
As you can see, he scores the penalty with his support leg. You got to try this at home, it’s not as easy as it looks…
And it begins… Cristiano Ronaldo and the mothers of his son
July 6th, 2010
It hasn’t lasted long: a mere two days after Cristiano Ronaldo announced on the Internet he became a father, there are two women that are claiming to be the mother of the child. In one case, a Danish teen girl, a particular kind of Paris Hilton clone said to be the mother of his child. She had a brief affair with Ronaldo in Madrid. According to the rumor mill, however, an American is the mother. Both women were pregnant a few weeks after they had met the Portuguese superstar.

C-Ron keeps the mother’s name for himself, but he will pay for the education of his son. Perhaps the Portuguese superstar opted for a surrogate mother because he did not want to share his millions. For now the baby stays in the Algarve, with relatives of the Real Madrid player. Let’s hope his son will be as good as him when it comes to soccer!
Referee fail of the century – Frank Lampard not approved goal
June 28th, 2010
In the 1/8 final match between England and Germany there happend something remarkable. When score was 1-2 for Germany, Frank Lampard shot on goal. The ball went 1 meter behind the line, but the referee Jorge Larrionda and his assistant (linesman) didn’t see the ball went in. Watch the video here below:
England fans at home and in South Africa reacted furiously to the decision to disallow Lampard’s goal and I can’t blame them. For your information, Germany won 4-1 with goals from Klose, Podolski, Muller (2x) and for Matthew Upson for England.
Soccer miss and fail of the year – World cup – South-Africa
June 23rd, 2010
I don’t know how he did it, I think its harder to miss it than score the goal. Yakubu (playing for Everton in England) of Nigeria missed an incridible two-yard goal. against South-Korea at the world cup in South-Africa. Watch the video here below:
He did score a penalty 2 minutes after his big miss. So I don’t think the miss changed the game enough to let Nigeria go through to the next round. The final score was 2-2 and Nigeria needed a 2 goal margin to go through.
