Confederations Cup 2009: Brazil – USA 3-2

Brazil won the confederations cup last sunday (28.07.2009). They were facing a loss against USA because they were losing 2-0 at the half time, but with two goals of Luis Fabiano and 1 of Lucio, they skewed the situation after a strong second half.

USA were great, but they could not hold on to the 2 goal lead. Onyewu was again the man of the match for USA. Also Dempsey and Donovan the two goalscorers for USA were very good.

It became the third confederations cup for the Seleçao. After a failed Olympic campaign, Carlos Dunga doesn’t have to worry losing his job at the moment.
