After a succesfull comeback of Kim Clijsters, there’s another belgian tennis player that is working on a comeback. Yes people, I’m talking about Justine Henin. The newspaper “Vers L’avenir” is making it concrete. Her entourage is saying that it officially is for preparing the exhibition matches, but guys, I think we know better. 1,5 years ago Justine told the press that she is leaving tennis. But after someone asked: “Will you come back”, she answered like this: “Never say never”.
Elke Rodriguez, the wife of the ex-trainer of Justine Henin (Carlos Rodriguez) told the newspaper, that’s something is moving, around Justine Henin. She’s training a lot more (but only because she is working on her operated knee, yeah right…)
The newspaper also gives three reasons why Henin is considering a comeback: 1. she misses tennis, 2. her devorce costed her a lot!! So, she’s in a financial crisis and 3. tennis runs through her vains…
Let’s hope the newspaper Vers L’avenir is right and Justine is making a comeback. This would be great for the game and for John McEnroe, because he loves to see her play.
UPDATE: it’s been confirmed, Juju (Justine Henin) is making her comeback.
