Manchester City has bought 4 star soccer players. Let’s give some information about them:
The first one is Carlos Tevez. He was bought from Manchester United (yes, there rivals) after a despute with his former coach Sir Alex Furgason. I almost certain that he will have a very nice season with a lot of goals. He’s a great striker, with still a lot of potential and I think Manchester United will miss him at the end of the coming season. Manchester lost two quality players (Christiano Ronaldo and now Carlos Tevez). Carlos played for 4 teams in his career. At the age of sixteen he made his senior debut on 21/10/2001 with the Boca Juniors. In December 2004 he transferred to Corinthians for 15 million euro. At the age of 21 he went to West Ham United because Tevez refused to play for Corinthians. He made 26 appearances and scored 7 goals. He stayed for only 1 season and then he went to Manchester United (on a two-year loan) where he made 63 appearances and scored 19 goals. Let’s hope we see him score a lot more for Manchester City and wish him the best over there.
The second one is Roque Santa Cruz. He came from Blackburn Rovers where he scored 23 goals in 57 apps. He also plays for the national team of Paraguay and scored 20 goals in 61 apps for the national team. Before the Blackburn Rovers he played for Bayern Munich where he scored 31 in 155 official appearances.
The tirth one is Gareth Barry. A typical English midfielder like Steven Gerrard. Great soccer player who played for Aston Villa almost 12 years. He scored 41 goals in 365 apps.
The last one is probably the best one of them all, Emmanuel Adebayor. Adebayor played for 3 teams befor he came to Manchester City. The first one was Metz (France) where he scored 14 goals in 44 apps. The second one was Monaco (also France) where he scored 20 goals in 100 apps and the last one was, as everyone knows I think, Arsenal where he scored 62 goals in 143 appearances. In 2008 he recieved the trophy for African player of the year. He also recieved 4 Togo (his national team) player of the year awards in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Adebayor is a great striker and he’s only 25 years old. So he has a great future in front of him.
I think Manchester City will have a nice team this year with a lot of star players. But I have only one problem, where are they going to put all of the strikers? Robinho, Jô, Bellamy, Roque Santa Cruz, Carloz Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor?? I think there can only happen two things for them this year. The first one is: there will be a lot of trouble with all of these great strikers, or there will be a lot to see at Manchester City, with off course a lot of goals. Let’s hope for them it’s the second one…
