The British Euro hater Nigel Farage launched a personal attack on the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy at the European Parliament. Farage was put in place by many of the members at the European Parliament.

Farage disapproved the lack of international appeal of Van Rompuy and his appointment by a inner circle of European heads of state and government leaders. “Is this the president of Europe, you have the charisma of a mop and the looks of a bank employee, said Nigal Farage of the anti-european UKIP during the first debate with Van Rompuy in the parliament.
“You might be skilled, but also dangerous,” Farage continued his tirade. “You’re the assassin of the European democracy and national states. Maybe it’s because you come from Belgium, that’s not even a real country. But we know we can not and do not want you”.

So… That was funny… Parliament Chairman Jerzy Buzek said the personal insults of Nigel are “unacceptable”. The Christian Democratic leader Joseph Daul pointed out to Farage he has the ability to leave the European Union. “I have nothing but contempt,” said Van Rompuy briefly on the insults of Farage.
