Passengers of the cruise ship Majesty are telling about the hell that erupted when ten meters high waves crashed into the bow of the cruise ship and plenty of water began to pour in. One of the passengers filmed the whole thing, it shows the devastating power of the waves and the panic that prevailed in the affected restaurant on board. Another passenger was filming outside, when the giant waves struck like a tsunami. See the footage below:
The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, when the Majesty Louis with 1350 tourists and 580 crew on board was en route to Genoa. Huge waves crashed into the ship and caused major havoc. Windows and mirrors have been smashed and a lot of water flowed into the restaurant and the cabins on the fifth deck. Two passengers were killed by flying glass and sixteen passengers were taken to hospital with injuries. A 62-year old woman broke both legs.
