A stupid parking barrier has saved the life of a six year old American girl in Sunnyside, Washington. The girl was walking on the sidewalk behind her parents when a car came towards her at high speed. Because of the parking barrier, the truck swung into the air and missed the lucky girl by an inch.

“One more step to the right or left and it had been a tragedy,” said one officer after the accident. The driver of the oncoming car had an expired driving license and was arrested for reckless driving. The girl was unharmed. You can watch the incident here below
