Before the match Chelsea – Manchester City (2-4) was kicked off, it was interesting to see how the relationship was between Wayne Bridge and John Terry. Brigde refused to shake the hand of Terry before the match.

Both players are in wrangle with each other because Terry had an extramarital affair with Vanessa Perroncel, the former girlfriend of Bridge, which is also the mother of his child. Earlier this week, Bridge has announced that he no longer wants to play with the English national team because the tension between the two internationals would divide the team. Terry then had to surrender his captaincy, this was desided by the national team coach Capello.
